The way this history course is being taught is really irritating me. It’s medieval Europe, but the lecturer just seems so biased. It always seems like Western culture = inherently good and Eastern culture = inherently bad. He keeps talking about “cruel Turks” and using all this really outdated language. They were just people too, like the Westerners.
